I know many on here have more than one bike, so if you do which one did you spend the most time on in 2016?

Me

1. Vaya ti gravel / cross / adventure type bike.
2. Jones steel spaceframe.
3. Norco full suspension bike.

I can't be bothered to work out the exact milage for each bike but the Vaya did more than double the Jones and the Jones more than double the Norco.

Dartmoor Hornet, just so much fun and far more capable than a HT has any right to be!

Relegated my very trick Trance to second bike which I never thought would happen.

Very depressingly, it's my Brompton.
My wonderful old Tinbred has made me much happier, but has been used an order of magnitude less than the nerd bike.

Miles wise, the Isaac on Zwift.

The now sold charge cooker and Spearfish were next.

The Parkwood then next, last in miles is the Whyte t130 but that will soon change next year.

Smiles, the Whyte wins.

On-One Fatty
Cannondale CAAD4 Road bike
El-Mariachi SS

Which just shows how little I rode this year, usually the road bike is by far the most miles because it never used to get used for less than 70-80 at a time. Then the SS for evening/night rides. Then the 'trail' bike only came out on weekends.

My £197 Specialized Allez. 4 years strong & the only thing i've changed is the brakes pads & rear tyre.

I think another 4000km on it this year, most of which has probably been on the turbo, which is a depressing thought 🙂

I've barely been out this year due to crippling carpal tunnel syndrome (now operated on) but when i have been out it's mostly on my Planet X Kaffenback, flat bar build, which my kids nicely refer to as my old man bike.

Joint top (can't be bothered to figure out the exact mileage but will be similar): Onza Payoff and Canyon Spectral. Tended to use the Onza for commuting, evening rides and when it was wet, Canyon for everything else).

3rd: Forme Hooklow gravel/ CX bike (now sold, was replaced by the Onza).

4th: Scott Genius (now sold, replaced by the Canyon).

Cotic Soul / Orange five about equal ( both 26'ers, both brilliant )

On One Inbred SS / New Genesis CDF equal ( only had the CDF couple of weeks)

Boardman Road Bike 0 Miles

Think the CDF will be well on top in terms of distance next year, but probably not amount of rides.

Probably close to a 50/50 between my Remedy 29 and my Dune fatbike. The Remedy does all the going away and almost all of the racing, and most of the harder work generally, the Dune gets used a lot locally and on familiar trails. A good partnership.

There's a cheap carbon 29er creeping in which I suspect is going to get ridden about 4 times 😆

My old Kona Major Jake. This does everything from sheep tracks over mountains, forest roads to my Sunday CTC rides. I'm not sure that's what Kona had in mind when it was their top of the range cx bike. A snowy ascent of the Kirkstone pass back in November.

Most miles (and smiles) - A 2009 Voodoo Limba that I built up this year; has replaced both my hardtail and my roadies as my go to bike.

Most frequently used ~ probably my Merida hardtail that has been relegated to trail-a-bike duties, so does lots of short journeys with the kiddywinks.

My road bikes hardly got a look in this year, although it was a funny year as I spend much of the summer laid up due to a RTA in my car that left me with a back injury.

Pinnacle Ramin 29er - did the most commuting duties
Singlespeed Pinnacle Iroko 26 - such fun!
Cotic BFe 26
Commencal Meta Full Susser 26
Giant Avail Road bike - only got it in July

I had a rather tame MTB year, mostly XC and commuting, hoping to change that in 2017...

Bird Zero.
Genesis Croix de fer.

Genesis has only just been brought though and is now the commuter so will likely be used more than the Bird in 2017. Which is sad. Will have to make more of an effort to go out with the Zero.

In order of mileage for me would have to be,

Rockymountain Blizzard fat bike
S-Works Stumpjumper HT 29er
S-Works Epic 26er
and maybe a couple of outings on the road bike.

Got to admit I do love the fat bike especially with the Blutos for just generally riding into, and over, things.

Low mileage year for me for a variety of reasons - mainly lack of commuting - but the results - in miles:

Giant Defy - 1949
Pinnacle Arkrose - 937
Cotic Soul - 536

Don't bother asking me how that fares against target.

Passing observation though - is the game here not to state your most used bike, rather than how many 'n' do you have?

Got to say it would be the Genesis Datum, commute every day when possible.

First "road" bike I've had and it is so much quicker than any of my other bikes.

Then road bike, then salsa spearfish.

No1 2010 Genesis Altitude - not much original. New 1x10 this year worked great.
No2 Old road bike which still runs well. New seat & chain this year.
No3 FS mtb which has not been out much.
Note: My climbing shoes have had more outings than my bikes.

My on one 456. I ride it when it's horrible and muddy, when I'm out with the kids/family and I ride it when I'm in the mood for something more playful than the next bike...

A 29r fs, which is a better and faster bike 99% of the time but lacks a bit of the character of the 456.

Then my crappy old hybrid and the road bike. I love road riding. Don't like the road bike though. Never been comfy on it over 30 miles so it just gets ignored.
