Very much down on previous years and this is down to one thing. My infant daughter not going to sleep properly and me sacrificing my evening rides to help. Hopefully 2018 will be significantly better.
And yours? 😉

Not my best year, work, life and cba have all combined to reduce ride time.

Rides: 153
Hours: 209
Distance: 5,320km
Elev Gain: 37,530m

In fact my lowest stats for 7 years.

Some good rides though including trips abroad.

Probably my best mileage in 5 years as I don't commute by bike and only ride a full suspension enduro weapon/steed, even managed to get 9 KOMs somehow (though most are long gone).

One more rid to go today to take me over the 5800 mark, my goal for the hear was 5k so I’m happy especially as I’ve only been back on the bike for just over a year after a 4 year hiatus.

Distance 1023km
Time 100hrs
Elevation gain 30,314m
Ridea 60

That’s a fairly average year for me - 1 ride a week in winter, 2, sometimes 3 in summer.

Annoyingly this year started so well, I can’t get any more rides in, but I could ride longer so I did, all fell apart in August, combination of things mental health problem killed my motivation which still hasn’t come back in full strength but I’m getting there and I only rode once in August.

I’ve got a loose plan to hit 1500kms next year, I say loose as I could do it easily by changing where and how I ride, but I’m a TC tart and I’ve only got a 160mm AM bike so it’s not so easy.

219 PRs though! Not back considering I’ve been riding for 12 years and don’t stray far - still getting quicker 😉

Rides - 165
Time - 157h53m

Low milege this year, mainly due to running stats
Runs - 126
Time - 77h53m
Distance - 557

Next year will be less running and more cycling.

My favourite stat is that I’ve spent over 3 solid weeks pedalling. Mostly to work and back though, and down on last year by about 500 miles due to my commuter having to be warrantied in November.

One more ride to do shortly but:

205 hours
3,483km
148 activities
720 PRs
51,914m of ascent.

Not spectacular but reasonably pleased since it's almost all techie off-road and hardly any road.

Oh, and longest ride 297km (and it was off road too 🙂 )

Nope! I just live at the top of one. My commute is quite lumpy, over 1000ft each way so it mounts up quite quickly. Cheers though.

Cycling:
267 Rides
8711km
459hrs
101,793m climbing

Running:
86 Runs
941km

12,059m climbing

Didn't do much riding for the first few months as was marathon training, but have done a fair amount of commuting mixed in with 2-3 MTB rides since.

Most proud of finding time in a busy life to average 1hr28min of moving time per day for the whole year on bike/running. Will aim for 1hr30 next year.

94 rides
193 hours
146,000 ft of climbing
3682km of distance.
All outside, I don’t count my indoor stuff.
I had a few weeks during the end of summer when I didn’t ride due to work commitments but generally got out once a week as a minimum. Didn’t ride the road bike as much this year, probably 3/4 of the distance was on my gravel bike with the rest mtb.
Want to do 5000km in 2018.

Time 694h 52m
Elev Gain 559,619 ft
Rides 186
Longest ride 221.3 miles

Was my best ever year on the bike & I'm making the most of being retired.
Achieved my 3 riding goals of 2017:
cycling more than my 2016 total miles of 5,200
riding 200 miles in a day
climbing more than 500,000ft in honour of Dibbs the climbing legend RIP

It's gonna be a tough 2018 to top my 2017 stats 🙂

Not been on the bike for a month, other priorities & a head cold for the last couple of weeks.I'll be out for a snot fueled final ride of the year later..

Distance 1154 miles
Elevation 36115 feet

One major difference this year is that I've not been on the mountain bike since early June.I just don't like having to put the bike in the car to get on the trails. Can't see that situation changing in 2018..

Heading out into storm Dylan this afternoon to clock a few more in the wind. Lost a few months this year due to work, injury etc like most folk.

Ideally would love to clock 2500 miles next year and try to stay stupid injury free.

3000 km this year .....2000of them done in 4 weeks riding across British Columbia. 65 rides and 155hours 30000m of climb.

Amazing how quick your legs redevelop.....

Poorest year for a long time due to lack of commute.

Need to sort that out in 2018.

4609 miles
323hrs25mins
291,634 feet climbing
450 rides

Considering 2016 was approximately (as no Strava until September)...
700 miles
78 hours
27,300 feet of climbing
156 rides

It's been an amazing year for me, finding a level of fitness I've not had since the 1990s; discovering regular recreational (rather than solely commuting) cycling for the first time in years; becoming a hill climbing addict; losing ~15Kg since June 2016.

Really looking forward to 2018 in cycling terms, recently treated myself to an Elite Direto for when outside is not appealing (and to progress further hopefully with help of its power meter), hoping to experience my first cat2 climb (probably Bwlch y Groes) sometime in spring/summer.

More importantly, 5 wins and a dozen-ish other podiums.

Good lord - I thought I was doing well until I saw some of these numbers. Mine were

439 hours

Lots of ups and down - because of West Yorkshire

Almost identical to last year other than an extra 50,000ft of up.

As good as all on the Mountain bike. Maybe rode the Roadie 3-4 times last year and a couple of sessions on the rollers.

Rides -168
Time - 493 Hours
Distance - 6,179 km (3,840 miles)
Elevation - 169,096 meters (554,776ft)

Had some time off due to injury, but still managed to better last years stats. Would be nice to break the 5000 mile distance or 200,000 meters of climbing in 2018, but as already going to be off the bike for January, whilst I recover from an operation that's not going to happen.

15840 km, about 50 of which are on Zwift. Just missed my target thanks to an infection from November to December.
519 hours
490 rides
89km of elevation

Still, mustn't grumble as I got my second cat, finished mid third in UCI Chrono and Fondo, and discovered I like loooong time trials.

80 rides
61 hours
672 miles
29,000 feet

Only started cycling again in August after a 5 year hiatus. A lot of those miles are commuting miles but they all help to build up the fitness and 2018 should be a good year to build on that start. Lost the last 3 weeks to some awful cough/lurgi that is still hanging around but finally shifting a bit!

Cycling
280 rides
7046 km
63 353m climbed
13d, 3h, 53 mins

Running
64 runs
555 km
5626m climbed
2d, 4h, 58 mins

First year counting miles and pretty happy. Cycling only really started logging in March and lots of indoor rides that didn't get any distance. 80% of run distance since September so looking to up that next year. Bring on 2018.

Slightly better than last year but not as much as I hoped, though I missed a total of 8 weeks from a combination of colds and back muscles going into spasm.

Approx 50/50 commuting and MTB. Haven't put in the ride count as that's skewed by me counting each run on uplift days separately.

Was aiming for 3500 miles so got to my goal at the end of November, took it easy over December as a reward. Ticked off the SDW in one along the way too so a happy year bikewise. Will struggle to beat that mileage in 2018 so working on technique and core strength, might do the SDW again if an opportunity presents itself though.

Tom (minipips) and I had to ride today so he could achieve his first 5000 mile year.

That's mighty impressive for a young lad.

Be more interesting just MTb mileage and not road/virtual miles. For my selfish reasons...I only MTb ride!

Rides:117
Hours: 213hrs 54mins
Distance: 1497 miles
Elevation: 207,995

3 miles short of target, but true off road miles

Better than last year, but well down on the two before that. Two months off with a broken elbow didn't help...
