Mines got to be Brand X. From the droppers to bars and axles.
Good price no nonsense stuff.
You got a go-to budget brand?
Nope.
No, if I'm on a budget (frequently) I tend to go for second-hand posh stuff rather than cheap new stuff. Applies to tools and things too
Polaris for clothing. Other than that, no "value" brand I'd immediately go to. I have some Brand X stuff and it's all been great. Certainly nothing to stop me buying from them again.
Brand X has been ok for me so far -
2 droppers, a stem and bolt through rear axle.
Being a commuter I'm often buying cheap consumables to either stash away as Spares, or because I need something quick and it's what in stock, with next day delivery. I'm often finding myself quite impressed by stuff I actually thought would be naff.
For example life line tubes, clarkes chains, silverline tools, jagwire cables, Noah and Theo pads. Etc
Now Chinese stuff (wish, Alibaba, dx) - theres a gamble, occasional surprises, mixed with utter crap and fakery ahoy!!
Sunrace cassettes.
Clarks polycarb cages.
Boardman Spds.
BBB. Had quite a few of their eco tank bottle cages now and do the job perfectly well. Also a couple of their stems.
Nope. Had enough full bikes that later got sold as frames Ive got buckets full of quite nice stuff!
Brand X for the droppers already mentioned. But I’m also equally impressed with RSP (carbon bar), Uberbike (best pads ever), Planet X 365 base layers <£10, and Halo-branded spokes for wheel builds.
Sunrace cassettes.
Bolany, make Sunrace prices seem like XTR!
