Yes, I know they're obsolete now, but still [s]dithering about [/s] trying to decide on a full suss, so any views on these?
Merlin are knocking them out for peanuts, so thinking they may be worth a punt?
It's a 130mm bike, but heavier than the 150mm SB66. Basically a parts bin special for a company that didn't have a 27.5 bike ready for the rush.
It blows through the rear travel way to easily but feels OK geo wise but just feels like there should be more travel there... Not that light either.
Used one a few times but wouldn't buy one.
I have the SB66 my first full suspension bike and absolutely love it. Fits me so well, well balanced when in the air and going down hill. Can get up quite a lot of stuff too that I could on my hardtail.
Wouldn't say the prices are a steal though I paid £1700 for my alloy frame 6 months ago but specifically wanted a 26" wheel bike and had my heart set on it.
True it is a little more portly than my specialized rockhopper but I love it.
