Just swapping a cracked rear end for a friend and I've noticed that the Ali centre of the 183mm floating rotor rubs on the brake mount. Looking at the cold rear end, this one was doing the same!

Anyone else noticed this? I assume a non floating rotor will cure this.

Yup, had this problem before on my current bike. Moving to non-floating roots solved the problem.

Had this on my Nomad with Mavic Sx wheels. It took the paint off the rotor. Ended up taking 0.5 mm off the mount. Sorted!!

Likewise, mavic SX wheels fitted and a few rides in the damn rivets of the floating rotor seem to like floating inwards. I've left it to remove the metal itself but think it may have frenzied my riding buddy 😆
Mine are the twin vented floating rotors....just wondering if others are the same type or single floating rotors?

Put some washers in between rotator and hub.

That would make it worse.
