Has anyone got a yeti sb6? latest one (18)

how does it pedal? is it a decent climber? im assuming its rather rapid downhill given Richie Rude rides one, must be very capable Id imagine

always lusted after one, but never done it and fancy a change

any real life rider reports appreciated 🙂

I've only ridden my mate's up and down a very short descent in the woods.  His has SG Mary/razor, a 36 and an X2.

I'd gone off Yeti a bit but it's a very, very lovely bike.  Beautiful inside and out.  I like the suspension design.  Switch is neat and tidy but he hasn't yet had to deal with much mud.  I've got no idea what it's like through rough stuff but it went uphill quickly.  No bob.  But isn't that true of pretty much everything these days.

I think the swith link is the key to making it such a good climber, and feel very progressive through the travel (almost feeling of limitless travel)

id expect it to climb pretty well as Ive read it pretty much for all yetis with switch infinity links

sounds like his is a good setup with x2 and 36's

be keen to hear how it rips down hill too 🙂

I borrowed one for a month in NZ. The owner had no problems with mud (they ride in winter too there, though it's a little shorter and involves more skiing).

It climbed more efficiently than my Pivot, no better downhill though.

They're very light for the intent and the one I rode was suffering a little for it. There was a soft spot on the rear triangle where it hit a rock and the front triangle had a crack in it. It had suffered a few crashes though, so that's not exactly very hard data. They did beef up the rear triangles anyway though!
