Anyone know how to spot the difference between the newer (stronger) rear triangle and the older one? I've got a late 2011 ASR-5C which could have either fitted- would like to know which as am considering selling it and am bound to be asked.

Cheers.

If it's a 2011 it *should* have the new one on it - mine's a 2011, purchased early-mid 2011 from dealer, and I'm assured by both shop and importer it's the new version...

On the later one the rear disc mount is infilled. The earlier one has a hole just below where the disc calliper attaches.

Thank you both. It appears it does have the newer version (and a 5 year warranty, though not transferable if sold... may just keep it and buy the other bike I have my eye on anyway). 🙂
