Bought a wheel from an online retailer a couple of months back.
The rim has developed a problem which they've asked it to be returned, which is fair enough.
I asked in what state they want it returned.
Stripped down and put in a cardboard box, they'll arrange collection when it's ready.
I said fine but are they replacing the Stan's tape that replaced the rim tape it came with?
NO was the reply.
I know Stan's tape doesn't cost much (£12-£13 per roll) but it now means I've got to go find a box in 29 flavour and replace the tape at my own cost due to a manufacturing fault.
Am I being unreasonable to ask for the rim tape to be replaced?
under the rules of the world, all they have to do is replace what you bought.
