I have decided on a Rockshox Reverb.

My question is which one? The older one at £180 or the 2016 B1 model. Chain reaction do the Stealth 2016 model for £270 which I believe fits my 2013 Zesty 414.

My main question is what length of seatpost and what travel/drop?

My current seatpost is 350mm with 210mm exposed from clamp to seat railings.

I also have tried my son's large Norco A7.1 which I think has the older dropper. Seemed fine although he has the post resting on the collar where as I would probably raise it say 50mm maybe.

First dropper post so want to get the right size and unfortunately I have struggled to get advice from LBS.

Thanks
Steve

If you buy a old style one when it fails you'll get a new style one as a warranty replacement :).

Size wise you need to have enough room for the travel + distance to saddle rails + the collar at the bottom. I've found these newsagent online before (in forums and reviews).
