It rained, flooded, stopped....then we went out today. Introduced a new rider to the trails 🙂 Great fun.

There's a couple of massive holes at the start of a section. Not sure they're worth a full-blown dig day though, a couple of barrow loads of gravel would see them off. Dilemma. 🙂

Yeah it's a shame about that bit as can stay pretty dry otherwise

Yes it's great isn't it!

Doing 50 acre is always a dilema now because it's such a contrast to the new trails. On one hand going from max grip to muddy/rooty/rocky randomness is great fun, on the other the amount of mud the bike picks up is unbelievable!

The rocky descent of 50 acre is a truly beautiful thing 🙂

50 acre is great, but quite vulnerable when muddy?
(That'd be my excuse! 😆 )

True, think it's best steered clear of until it dries a little

We did quite a bit of work on 50 Acre earlier in the summer so most of it should be running OK. It's actually getting quite overgrown at the moment thanks to lack of use.

Given that I'm having to cycle through floods to get to the shop at the moment, it's probably not the best time to hit the trails though. :-/

I rode 50 acre early one Sunday morning a couple of weeks ago - it's running very nicely 🙂
