Decided to do a lower leg service on my 2017 yari forks but when I came to reinstall the lower legs the air chamber side rod has gone up a bit so when I try to put the bolt on at the bottom it isn't sticking down far enough to screw it on ,can I put some air in to get it down , advice please

I will be doing this very soon and changing the air shaft for the later red ended one. So I'm sure it will happen to me so thanks Simon 👍

Yep, exactly the same thing happened to my 2019 Yari when I serviced them. Just attached the shock pump and gave a few pumps to push the shaft out (ooh-err missus).

Also installed the RCT3 Charger2 damper which along with greased seals has made a mahoosive difference.

Mmm sore point I bought a second hand rc2 charger to fit but the thread is diff at top end so I'm giving up on it as I'm now out of pocket ,was going to do air shaft at the same time but I'm now just going to put back together as it was.
