Sorry if this has been done before. Ive bought an XX1 crankset and chainring to go on the new bike, but i'll be running my existing 10 spd xt cassette, clutch mech and shifter. What is the best chain for this combination?

Cheers

10 speed shimano or sram. I've tried a KMC one and it doesn't quit feel right on the XX1.

I'm running a SRAM PC1091 chain on my set up like that.

I'm running a shimano XTR chain ('cause i had it floating around in the "spares" box) with xx1 cranks (more importantly with the xx1 chainwheel) and with a shimano XT 10sp cassette (+dinner plate cog from oneup). Runs lovely, shifts lovely, not broken yet 😉

Philbert - no problems at all in nearly 8 months of use, and it gets a fair bit of force put through it on some of the more techy climbs around here.

Seems fine to me, what did you feel the problem was?
