Ok, so I forgot to order the GXP bottom bracket for my XX1 groupset. Will the standard Shimano/RaceFace/Aerozine BB's I have on hand, work with the XX1 cranks?

Also anyone bought the Hope XX1 freehub body? If so was anywhere particularly good value?

I'm running my XX1 cranks on a standard Chris King BB.

I don't think that Shimano BB's will work as the spacing is different with SRAM. The Chris King BB's come with the necessary SRAM spacers.

Hope will work, but I believe you need to buy an extra spacer kit for it, part number BBSP109. They're only £8.25 though from CRC

I'd stay well clear of RaceFace BB's, they're rubbish.

Can't help on the Hope freehub, I'm running my XX1 group on a DT and a Paul Comp freehub.

Where'd you order your XX1 from Jamj? I'm on a "bargain"* hunt.

Around £58 was the cheapest I found via google for the driver a few days ago.

Amplebrew - do you not need any adaptors with the CK BB, like you do with a hope BB for example? Is yours just the standard mtn BB?

*It's all relative

No extra adapters needed with the CK BB, all the bits required come as standard.

I've previously ordered all my XX1 bits from Tweeks.. Not too sure who is cheapest at the mo, but Tweeks are showing 25% off.

I priced up the X01 and the XX1 and there wasn't much in it at the time, so I just went for the XX1

I got a ceramic gxp BB from uberbike last month, excellent value for £60 and various colours.

Both those BB's look good options. Thanks for the suggestions!
