[Closed] XTR m975 reservoir caps can these be removed without having to bleed brakes

has anyone got these xtr hydraulic brakes m975 and took off the reservoir caps are these removable without having to bleed or fill up again only my caps are round the wrong way and its driving me mad as the xtr logo is round the wrong way with my xtr shifters logo but i dont want to take them of as i dont know what will happen any one done thos and give me a heads up of whats goinfg to happen when i take them off
technical ability of bad to poor.

yep.
Just tilt your levers level first.

Make sure you really push down on your (good!) screwdiver to prevent cam-out as the screws arent the toughest and mine were very tight from the factory.

Yes - it's fine. Just make sure the reservoirs are level.

hello, so as long as the brake is flat the res is level i can take of the covers, is there any membrane inside that forms a seal to the cap ?

There's a rubber membrane inside the metal cover. It'll likely come off when you take the cover off. Just make sure you seat it correctly and don't contaminate it with grit or dirt when you put it all back together.

there's a rubber profiled seal that sits in the resevoir. It will prob stay in place when you remove the cap. gently lift the cap off, rotate and replace.

ok all done lost a bit of fluid but all good still got brakes and everything aligned correctly, much appreciated all who helped.

If you're worried about the lost fluid, you can easily top it up using the same approach.

didn't loose that much and brakes still work fine so that will do me for now don't want to push my luck.
