Well two questions!
If the chainset is a double, can it be swapped to a separate single easily or does it need adaptors?
And... can they run xt m8000 single change really rings or can they only run xtr ones?
I have a feeling they do need adaptors to run a single and the rings are xtr specific.

I have the XTR trail but won't the chainline be "wrong" for a single ring as it's designed for a couple unless you use an adapter.

I can tell you that the XT single chainset is just a double with one ring fitted....

Autocorrect went odd there. Second question should have read 'single chain related report report rings' not 'single change really rings'!
