You don't need to be an 'investor' to invest in Singletrack: 6 days left: 95% of target - Find out more
I know there was a thread on here a few weeks ago about this but I can't find it to update, today I set up XTR 11spd cassette and mech with an X01 gripshift, it works a treat, exactly like an Sram mech. I assume it'd work the same with a Sram trigger too if you prefer them but want an XTR mech. Woohoo
Now the cheeky bit, I also bought an XTR right hand trigger in case it didn't work so if anyone wants one of those i'm looking for £55 posted, paid by PayPal. Drop me a line at adam(dot)buckland@hotmail(dot)co.uk
This is excellent news indeed. thanks for the info.
You're running GripShift and SRAM rear mech with an 11sp 11-40 xtr cassette?
ooh, this is good news.
Nope, I'm using an XTR cassette and mech with SRAM X01 gripshift but I guess it'd work the same with a SRAM 11spd mtb mech
Sounds like SRAM gripshift and xtr block and mech
Damb beat me to it...
Hmmm even more intriguing.
So presumably a normal sram 11 speed trigger shifter should work as well?
Why would you tho? The xtr shifter is cheaper and in a totally different league to anything SRAM makes
Should do Everyone. I've not tried it but think the pull ratio is the same on gripshift and SRAM triggers
I like SRAM shifters. Granted I've not had a play with the new xtr stuff
Because I prefer Gripshift to triggers but I think that the Shimano mech is better than SRAM
