Any tried & tested compatible powerlink available ? I've got the Shimano pins but would like a "get you home" solution.

TIA dave.

Decathlon sell kmc links branded up as decathlon packages for about half the price.

Decathlon ftw.

at a pinch it may take a 9spd one to get you home (trailquest emergency fix)

The kmc ones can be re-used unlike the sram which are one use only.

KMC and SRAM are both fine.

KMC ones you can undo on the trail with your hands!

Usually yes, until the time you can't cos they're all crudded up (hence the split and add in a 9 SPD bodge)

A £6 pair of quicklink pliers now lives in my camelbak.
