is anyone using a m8000 rear mech with aftermarket jockey wheels, just switched over to 11 speed using this mech and shifter and a sun race 11/46 cassette, ehrn fitting the mech i fitted my hope jockey wheels over from my 10 speed set up. all parts where new apart from these and the shifter which was second hand. i noticed the top plastic jockey wheel hss alot taller sharper teeth than the hope ones, will this give issues shifting? i have either to issue with mine, either second from largest gear i get slight rub from Chain against 46 gear, one click back on barrel adjuster one of the lower gears gets abit lazy, takes abit longer to shift than the others, any ideas?
M8000 med cage, 11-42t M8000 cassette. OE jockeys were like ninja stars, so went with Uberbike alloy ones. Only a couple of rides so far, but also changing inner and outer gear cable made a massive difference.
I'm using mine with Shimano 10spd wheels at the moment as that's all I could get from LBS quickly.
