Just trying to clarify ;
Do all the XT M8000 cranksets have a Q factor of 176 ?
I ask as currently have a set of XX1 cranks with a 168 Q factor. These are fitted within a boost frame, the non driveside crank arm does not leave a lot of clearance to the chainstay.
So looking for a little more clearance which if I have understood the XT specs correctly any of the XT M8000 cranks should give me.
Also looking back over this thread it would appear that even though I can purchase a boost specific c/set I would be better of chainline wise with the no boost version. http://singletrackmag.com/forum/topic/shimano-xt-m8000-chainline-issues/page/3 As both boost and non have the same Q factor of 176.
Thanks for any help.
For anybody interested and future reference.
