So I take off wheel, pads out, block in. Use a funnel method as per all of the guides. Tap the lines, wiggle things about and still not great.
First half dozen lever pulls is great and firm then gets squishy and pulls to the bars. Crap bleed or has a seal gone?
Thanks in advance
Chris
You know the step where you have the caliper shut, the funnel (with oil) in the lever, and squeeze and flick the brakes. Do that a bit each time after your next few rides, and you might get a few more bubbles coming out.
I've had these brakes for a year and they've never been very good to be honest.
You've probably done it right, but have a look at this video if you haven't seen it already...
'tis the best guide I have found and nice and short.
Thanks
Here's our 5 Minute Shimano Mini Bleed guide which removes the remaining air from the master cylinder after refitting the brake pads. It might help in your situation.

Do it from bottom up with a syringe. It definitely makes a difference, pushes all the bubbles to the top too. Flick the hoses before you open the bleed nipple.
Cheers all, will try again this week
Have a look at your rotor width/wear. My saints were a disappointment until I changed my old knackered rotors. You'd be surprised how that small difference will make the brake pull to the bar.
