Has anyone got hold of this yet?
I want to know there's any chance of the XT Linkglide derailleur working with a Deore M5100 11-51 11 speed cassette. The Deore is already pretty heavy, but the XT Linkglide is 250g heavier.
I know Shimano says it won't, but has anyone tried?
Kind of defeats the purpose of linkglide if you don't use the cassette and chain
I just want a better derailleur & shifter than the Deore.
then use medium cage xt m8000

Didn't know the the 8000 would reach the 51.
I just went the full 5100 group, but the derailleur has been less than durable.
yup, had it on a sunrace 50? cassette before the deore
