I've been trying to set up my brakes, XT lever and callipers, but the "Free Stroke" screw on both sides are totally jammed. I've lubing them but they still won't budge. The heads seem fairly soft and I don't want to round them off. Any suggestions? (preferably not involving a hammer!)
Which way are you turning them? If the head of the screw is flush with the lever body thats about as far as they go in.
TBH they dont make a massive difference when adjusted, so perhaps leave them be?
Can't turn them either way. The problem is that there's a big difference between the bite point on the front and rear and I'd like to even things out a bit.
