any recommendations? The splines on mine aren’t very long so it doesn’t engage properly

Is the park tools one any good?

thanks

Park one's are fine, is yours just short splined, or not fully engaging because you still have the end cap on the hub preventing it from seating fully?

Yep, park one with the blue 12mm shaft works a treat. If you can remove the end cap from your particular hub, it can't hurt.

Copaslip is your friend when you fit the cassette. No point marking removal harder than it needs to be.

We have a few of these including the Park one. Bought a Birzman, I think, from 18 Bikes after not getting full engagement with the Park on XD drivers. It has a thinner wall and longer splines. Feels alot more secure when I have the big adjustable spanner on it.

I can't get the end cap off as it screws on under the locking bit of the cassette

i'll look at that Birzman - thanks
