I'm trying to fit an XO1 BB30/PF30 crank into a 73mm PF30 BB. The SRAM instructions clearly state that a 73mm BB does not need spacers. When I tighten the crank onto the correct torque, there's still about 2-3 mm of movement. Strangely just the size of a spacer.
Any advice - is there an art to fettling the crank on further, should I just pop a spacer on...?
Can you not take the play out with the adjustable collar on the crank?
Wot he said (going by my S1400 crankset)
Kudos and thanks to both of you. The instructions now make sense!
I have a feeling I'll be back later to ask about Hope Hubs ...
