Looking at putting a Force 1 XD cassette on a 135qr road hub. Ideally would like something pretty quiet, which I think rules out Hope. Looking at for sort of Ultegra level of quality.
What options are out there?

DT Swiss 240, or 350 for a cheaper version.

Basically you're looking for brands that do 'matching' Road and MTB hubs. Tune, Carbon-Ti, American Classic.
I'd probably get DT.

The new Hope Road based free hub is actually pretty quiet.

Supjective, it's not silent but it's a lot quieter.
