I'm looking to get a set of 29er wheels built up for xc and trail use. I think I have slimmed it down to two rims. They are the XM421 and the X432 both are available in the int width I want 25mm and both come in 28 hole versions.
So the XM are all mountain yet apparently are lighter than the X by 30g.
Am i missing something as the XM are all mountain and the X are xc biased.
Also if theres a rim you think I'm missing out on let me know.

I've been running them for a year for what it's worth...
The 30g does not bother me. I'm surprised that an all mountain rim is lighter and I can see no reason to buy the X over the XM even though I mainly want it for x duties.
Have I missed something ?
The 432s are eyeleted. I'd buy whichever are cheapest.
X432 are their budget eyeletted rims. The XR391 is the high end XC 25mm rim with PHR washers and Squorx nipples.
