Hello, I am among these 3 models and I do not know which one I would choose:

https://www.canyon.com/es/mtb/exceed/exceed-cf-sl-7-0-pro-race.html

https://www.radon-bikes.de/mountainbike/hardtail/jealous-al/jealous-al-29-100/

https://www.radon-bikes.de/mountainbike/hardtail/jealous/jealous-80-2018/

Canyon: I like the bike and the assembly and, above all, the seatpost. I do not like the price for are Carbon and that weighs more than 10Kgs...
Jealous Carbon: The bike is beautiful, the assembly is brutal. I like the weight even though it does not have a seatpost same as Canyon.
Jealous Aluminum: I like it a lot, the assembly for aluminum is very good but it is a bit of weight, like the Canyon.

The use is for XC exclusively. Of the Jealous Carbon I like the weight and of the Jealous Aluminum the price. Of the Canyon bike I like the Seatpost but is more weight...

Which one would you choose?

Thanks.

haha. Difficult decision...

These three bikes are serious XC racing machines. Not really the field I'am in. Not really the price range I'am in.

If the big bucks burn in the pocket: the Jealous Carbon looks like a hell of XC racer. The weight is crazy.

Canyon and Radon - both make very good bikes.

Wouldn't be too surprised if the Jealous wins some world cup XC racing events this year...

Yes, it is a difficult decision. What would be your best option?

Canyon exceed cf: think they are already a bit longer around with this race machine.

"Risk" when picking the Canyon is minimal. Canyon has an own test lab and they take these special "carbon quality issues" very serious.

Radon Jealous Carbon: think more the "newcomer". Challenging Canyon and others? Appears to be a rocket so... Radon definitely does a lot to move into the "high end bikes" and into racing.

Singletrackworld forum: think most members are doing a bit different biking here. I fear you won't find too many owning the Exceed CF or the Jealous Carbon...- means difficult to get real world feedback here...!?

These bikes are made for racing. Nothing else. In such a case I would - additional to the reviews - check the race results for these bikes...

And if this doesn't guide you to somewhere: are there biking clubs close to you which do this XC racing? Do they use Canyon or Radon XC race bikes?

Quite a money you like to spend - pretty clear that you like to get the best deal for it.

These bikes are so close: I can't decide.

I know both options are good.

Now comes another question, by components, which one would you choose? :P.

Because they are so close: guess the wheelset decides it?

You like the Newman or the DT more?

haha.

Better to ask some experts. I don't dare to do the decision here.

(The Jealous Carbon weight is very tempting so... and if you are not a heavy guy you might feel the difference ?)

Singletrackworld forum: think most members are doing a bit different biking here

i think you under estimate how many members ride at a high level in XC, theres at least a couple who ride/or did in Elite at national level recently, and a lot who bother the podium of 24 hour solo races

I've got the 8.0 Pro Race and I can confirm that it is extremely good. Great fun to ride. So much so that more often than not, its chosen over the skill compensator I have when I go out for a ride these days.

I can't say which bike to choose as there is usually no bad bike out there these days. It's just down to the component spec for the money.

Can I throw this KTM Myroon Master 12 Speed into the equation? Top level World cup & Olympic podium frame, tubeless wheels, GX Eagle 12 speed, light, and they are very comfortable and fast.
