I just ordered a new type 2 x9 ear mech to hopefully stop chain drop,slap,now i'm panicking that it wont work with the x5 shifters,im currently running all 10sp but x7 mechs and x5 shifters,i hope i dont now need to buy a new shifter,

I'm running exact same mech and shifters. No problems here. Much better shoeing than my original x5 mech and not dropped a chain yet in 4 rides of jumping tree roots stumps rocks and general mucking about. I would like to eventually like to upgrade the shifters.
