Hi, I'm talking to the MD of our local bus company who is considering internal bike racks like those on the Border Bus X62
Has anyone got any feedback on how well they work?
Especially for other bikes than MTBs - as this would be for a commuter route and possibly leisure/touring users too.
I commute on the x62 every day from peebles to edinburgh.
The racks are great. Well the one time i have seen one being used it looked to work well.
The timings however are bloody hopeless for actually commuting that I have never used it. Last time i checked they left edinburgh at 1630 or 1930... And they are often not actually bike busses which to be fair you get warning about on the app but not before i would end up with a bike in edinburgh.
Not sure fat bikes would fit but everything else would be grand.
