Cassette(X1 -1180) and chain that came with bike are needed replaced sometime soon.

Is the XG-1150 a suitable replacement or am I better shelling out the same again on a X1-1180 <gulp>

It's basically just weight, as far as I can tell- I can't feel any difference in shifting. Maybe lifespan?.

And you've got to be careful there because SRAM fiddle the weights- GX's claimed weight seems to be exaggerated, I assume because otherwise nobody'd buy the one model up as it's more or less the same 😆

Worth trolling around classifieds and ebay, I got an 1190 for peanuts with delivery miles on it, people going back from 11 speed I think.

The X-Dome cassettes sure are pretty but far too spendy ,an expensive way to save 100g

The 1175 cassette has an alloy final sprocket if you are desperate to save a few grams
