Been looking every where for a set of 2012 Velvet RL2 DLA (110-140)forks, but can't find them listed anywhere other than US. Anyone know of any UK distributors?

I gave up looking when I emailed the distributor and was told to "try the internet".

Upgrade. Yup that was who told me to look on the internet. Only being facetious; I wanted the above fork in tapered and white. I think they have 1 black one left.
I think stock is limited at the moment as favourable reviews have increased demand.
Good for them.

Great forks, I bought one of the last pairs of tapered Velvet DLA's from the distributer, but have seen them on ebay for cheap from the US. They're brilliant by the way 🙂

Proline85 - Yours looks brilliant. I'm going for exactly the same type of build but with a black Soul!

Are those white Nano's? I was debating between white and black, but my red ones have started to fade quite badly after just a few rides on my EX8.

Your bars look fairly wide too...what length are they?

Freeborn list them at a reasonable price (if you count on getting hit for duty, etc from the US). Doesn't mention stock levels though, and I doubt they have all the options they list in stock at once. I could be wrong though.

I got mine through The Bike Chain, in Edinburgh. In addition they suggested that pretty much every LBS is going to have an account with Upgrade, so if you ask nicely you can probably get them almost anywhere.

Thanks warpcow - I found them on Freeborn earlier, but had no idea that they are from the US and would be charged!

matther01, black with white would look fab 😉

The pedals are "Superstar Ultra Mag", they're painted as opposed to anodised, so the paint comes off fairly easily.

Good pedals but have some chrome DMR Vaults on there now, the bars are 730mm Raceface sixc carbon numbers, need to post up some pics when you finish your build!
