Looking at them to replace some Reba's. User opinions sought.

Not sure about the slide but I swapped my rebas for the trace rl2 and they are great.

Got a Slide RL2 on a Stanton Sherpa set up for general XC/trail use and no complaints thus far. No frills reliable fork, and value for money in my opinion. I’ve had Rebas in the past, and I personally prefer the Slide. These were my first experience with XFusion; I was impressed enough to invest in a McQueen fork and Manic dropper for my full susser based on reliability and service from XFusion/ Upgrade.

I had some on my Sherpa and they were good. Replaced them with Traces which track so much better - much stiffer.

I didn't ( & a couple of the team riders) find the traces to be that great weight wise, stiffness v. Reba better, but trace damping a bit agricultural.
Being 85/90 kg went for reduced travel solo air rev rct3s as damping better & a bit stiffer.

If you can afford it, I hear their Roughcut damper is streets ahead of their lower spec models.

I have a pair of Slides currently set at 100mm.

Build wise IMHO they are ahead of RS and the axle is again IMHO the best stock bolt through.

Greater range of rebound than RS too which caught me out initially as I was running mine too slow making for a less than plush ride but when I realised my error all that was sorted.

I run them as an XC fork and am 100kg and haven't noticed any undue flex - That was true of them at 100mm and 120mm.

Depends what you want to do on your Sherpa. I run a Pike on mine having moved from a Reba.

Yes the rough cut is significantly better than the standard x fusion damper setup, price wise you'd. E getting close to pile money ( ish) with a rough cut.
Damping wise it'll depend on which Reba you're comparing it to as a few variations
