Does anyone know where I can buy a new cartridge for a X-fusion Manic dropper seatpost, I've found that Upgrade bikes service them but they wont sell me a cartridge, Mine has a reluctance to stay locked down or locked up. It will sometimes work but is slow to act. I've got the cartridge out and just need a replacement..
If I send it for service it'll probably take around 3 weeks and I don't want to wait that long when I can do it myself..
Only place is import from the States. Upgrade won't sell you the part but will do a rebuild. I think they quoted me about £60. Not too bad I thought but not had it done as I fixed the issue on mine. Which was the cable had kinked.
I won't buy another for that reason.
Grr, the reason for the cartridge was the cheap replacement (£20) and if the main importer won't sell it... FFS.
I have the HILO SL and it's been great. Serviced and replaced the seals myself after the first 6 months, and I've not touched it for 3 years, other than once every six months with an air top up.
