Due to being a cack-handed idiot I managed to bust the little cable retaining eyelets on the bottom of my Manic dropper post. Basically the bit that the cable clamp nut sits in.
It looks like the actuator is all one piece, and that it may be possible to unthread it with a pin spanner of some sort.
So (1) has anyone got a knackered X-Fusion Manic post that I could disassemble in an experimaental way and (2) has anyone got any experience of doing this and also (3) am I barking up the wrong tree?
I'm dropping Upgrade an email to see what they reckon but always value the wise input of STW denizens.
