Need to know if anyone has measurements on how much post can be exposed below the collar? Manual only shows total length of post.
I can't figure out how to pull my dropper post out enough to check if there is a minimum insertion line (does it have one?). Leaving that for frame swap time. Only found individual measurements for the 170mm variant on a website review.
There is currently 38mm of post exposed abve the QR and below the collar. I want to change my frame to one with 50mm less seattube. (21" Marin SQ3 to 19" Da Bomb Sentinel 29er) The Sentinel 29er has over 30mm more stack, although a fair bit less reach. Frankly, I need a 4" total rise handlebar to fit the SQ3 as the front end is far, far too low for tall riders, and I can't find an NS Bikes District bar in the country I'm in, so I'm sucking this situation up and making a move to change frames so I can ride this summer (getting stiffed on the frame price too, £370 here!)
I think you'll be fine with 90mm exposed, pretty sure they can go much further (X-Fusion HI-LO SL here)
There are diagrams on the Upgrade bikes sites for each of the dropper lengths
For the 150mm its showing 136mm to the bottom of the post from the min insertion line. its diagram 11

Presuming it's internal routing, just take your lever off the bar and slide some cable through as you pull the post up, don't have to disconnect anything
Got it! Just. Almost kinked the cable at the front fighting to wiggle it through.
For reference. There is a minimum insert mark on the rear of the post in bright white graphics, 120mm under the collar.
So, I've got plenty of leeway changing frames. No buyers remorse today!
Edit: something else not in the manual. What's the replacement bolt reference needed for the handlebar clamp? Every time I take it off and on the cheese it's made of gets looser and looser around my Allen keys.
