Last 2 rides over the wyre has left me wondering why the forestry operations result in piles of branches deliberately stacked across the trails, thought it was a coincidence but after last nights ride it seems to be deliberate, piles of loose branches in several different places along the same section of trail, the work really does seem to be destroying many of the best trails, something that walkers and horse riders must also be finding a problem. anyone know why this would be the case? Conspiracy theorist inside me says it is deliberate to drop visitor numbers to the forest in order to aid a sell off to a commercial organisation...

For anyone planning to ride there this weekend, a trailraker on the rear and a swampthing on the front coped extremely well with the mud which varied from 50mm to in excess of 200mm deep 😯
