As in price? Someone on bikeradar the otnther day was recommending a chap list his 2010 Spesh enduro for £2,500...
Fork isn’t as mental as you might think. I ran a boxxer with mine and loved it.
Cable maintenance not a strong point...

£750 tops on a really good day
Neither are their descriptive skills...
But it also comes with a helmet!
Yes I did mean the price. With that build, look at the seat post and clamp, £450 tops.
That's not unusual. Lots of people have strange ideas of how much their bike is worth. I saw a couple the other day that were asking more than rrp (these were not rare bikes) and way more than store were selling the older stock for brand new.
Yes, lots of folk are way over optimistic on price.
When buying or last bike wth budget of £6-800, I was offered '99 Giant Warp DS2 for £850, older Kona FS 'with lots of hope bits' (so Hope stickers, stem spacers and saddle qr) for £900.
‘with lots of hope bits
I thought that was going to end with "I hope those bits stay attached until after the buyer has ridden away on it" kind of hope bits.
Cable maintenance not a strong point…
That was my first thought
Yeah but free postage.
Someone offered me a swap the other day for a pair of Lyrik I have for sale... a broken iPhone! There are some complete nuggets out there I’m afraid
Unbelievable Jeff
You think that's bad look at how much retro DH stuff goes for. Brooklyns probably go for more than they were new now.
Some of the retro scene is ridiculous, they don't seem to realise that the price of a POS does not increase like fine art.
I had those pedals in 2003, they were heavy as ....
"£5K worth of modifications"
What did it start as, a fridge, set of golf clubs?
I might message him and ask where the 5k was actually spent...
To be fair, this might be one of the super rare ones.
You know, a straight one.
Love the detail description of the spec and condition of the bike........
I might message him and ask where the 5k was actually spent…
K of coke in the seat post?
Very few of those were ever straight anyway.
Luckily Intense mainly use molds now for their plastic bikes, rather than a slightly pissed welder.... followed by slightly pissed/IDGAF quality control.
Maybe the 5K comes from the fact its one of the rare straight ones.
