Need to replace my WTB Resolutes as they are virtually slicks, and the trails are starting to get muddy.
Have had my eye on the Raddler for a while, but pricey at £45 each.
Recently come across the Rhombus which looks good. Seems a new tyre, with only a couple of online reviews.
Wondered if anyone had any real-world experiences of either.
Riding is usually as much off-road as I can, which for the next 9 months is likely to involve a fair bit of mud. Hoping that either of the above would be more confident in the wet than the Resolutes, or tyres of similar ilk, eg Gravelking SK?
Oh ... Given the number of Gravelistas on here, I am disappointed in the response ...
Who'd like to chip in for a set of these pricey tyres, and I'll review them for you all?
I have the Rhombus on my CGR SL, they are awesome.
I’m using the Raddlers on my flat bar hybrid thingy. They roll very well on road for a semi-knobbly. Great on the gravel/sustrans type trails I use when it’s muddy.....
In anything approaching real mud, they’ll slip a bit going in a straight line, but cornering is still pretty good.
