It's the Weekend Ride Picture Thread again.
Ride your bike.
Take a few pics.
Post them up with a few words about the ride.
Solo rip round for me this morning trying out a new setup on the bike.
Stuck to tracks I know really well to try and get a feel for the changes.
I was so busy trying to make mental notes i forgot to take any pics except this one. 🤣
For anyone heading to the Golfie this weekend be sure to check out the work that's been done on 3G.
Bloody marvelous it is.

I've worked my arse off this week. At least the weather has been a crap damp dreich. Which means I haven't been exactly itching to get out on the bike.
So when the sun (sort of) popped out this afternoon, instant decision to sack it off early and pop out in the singlespeed for an hour or so.
Thursday morning ride... I tried posting this to Tractor Trumps but. Well. You know.
First ride on this bike with a shorter stem. What a difference, I wish I had changed it ages ago.
Mendip meandering yesterday, glad it wasn't today the Easterly wind has been evil 🥶
Basically a gravel ride round Rievaulx. All rideable but a short sharp up and a muddy wood
Well, I missed the brief appearance of the sun yesterday, so my alloted riding window today coincided with a return to coldness and mizzleness and greyness ...
But, actually really enjoyed the 2 hours /42km on the SS gravel bike ...
That was a long 15 minutes for some of those posts...
Come on STW tech guys sort it out before you kill this place for good. ☹️
Some of mine are taking several hours!
Saturday ride was a very sweaty lap of on and off piste Tewantin tracks while Reeksy2 was doing his coaching/club ride.
Cold ride out, but great trail conditions
Can't wait until it's a bit warmer and I can swim here again.
Bike was by the front door, final stages of getting my gear on... pulled a muscle in my shoulder. No ride for me today! Boo.
Not far but far enough to work anything loose, which didn't 🙂
(picture not appearing, will try again later)
Sonder Winter Gravel ride from Ambleside for me. Loved it, not ridden here before as we always hike when we're here usually. 50km in 3 hours. Legs are fairly sore now.
Popped to the chemist yesterday to pick up a prescription. It's only about 5 km away but I was enjoying the ride so carried on a bit further and ended up doing a 40km, mostly road with a bit of bike track ride.
It was great but so cold! Couldn't feel my feet by the time I got home.
In southern Snowdonia this week. Rode the Mawddach Trail. T'was great.
Edit - photo didn't up load. Yawn.
