Mrsstu's none working day today so we headed out for a spin round.
Five degrees, raining and still a shit load of ice and compacted snow about.
Great to be outriding though.
It sure beats working no matter what the conditions.

A mates birthday ride. Will forever be known as the 'lethal leaves' ride. As slippy as I've ever ridden, compressed wet leaves on still semi-firm dirt. Lots of comedy sliding about for 50km/1100m. Ended up quite late in the pub and needed lights to ride the 10km home. At which point it was proper dark, so we went to a different pub 🙂
Last week's winterness has long gone, leaving slimey mud and slick leaves everywhere.
Wet but very enjoyable group ride today. Really need to sort some winter gloves and waterproof pants though!

Rather damp 125k loop out to Windsor and back today in the murk. Pleased my tubeless repair held out and I didn't need to press the new Dynaplug thingy into action..

Did the Dirty Santa ride near Guildford today. Was meant to be doing it with a mate but he's still not riding after a big crash back at the beginning of summer so decided to do it solo anyway.
Think the Xmas jumper could do with a wash afterwards...
I snuck out 'before the rain arrived' for a ride - and the heavens opened. So I turned back 🙁

Arrived home from 18 days work in Dubai Saturday afternoon, yesterday, a day with the boy and fixing stuff that broke while I was away while the wife went out, boys carol concert this morning, and out over the Purbecks for a few hours, 21 miles and 2,700ft, now sat at Luton airport hotel for an early flight to Gdańsk for a few days.
