No pictures for me as today's ride at Pitmedden was cut short by my mates forks giving up on him. Second week on the trot his bike has failed him ☹️.
A shame as Pitmedden was running really well.
Maybe next weekend 🤞
sunshine and showers here

In some woods in Yorkshire. Tip top!

Mini Reeksy 1 had an epic OTB on Tuesday, resulting in grazing on his neck a couple of days off school and a request for a gravel ride this weekend.
We had a brilliant time as I took him on a 60km cake loop tour of our local forestry.

Varying amounts off sun, wind and rain on my ride yesterday afternoon.
Some more woods in Yorkshire....

Bike Park Wales. We got some sunshine and had an absolutely cracking day.

Just one of the local classic routes today with a noob in tow. He enjoyed it, so all good. Funny what he sees as gnarly though 🤣

Not riding running the Pentland Skyline. It was breezy.
10 mile ride with Sophie via Paisley. Not a single close pass today either

XC ride with Mrsstu this morning.
50KM and 1000 Meters.
Sun came out , it didn't rain and the bikes just needed a brush off.
Result.

lush day in the FOD with the kid. Couple of laps of Ski Run and Sheepskull followed by fruit juices
Well I have some pictures of the usual 'Stick man Friday' ride, but they refuse to upload as the dialogue box claims they must be Jpeg etc (which of course they are) and must be under 10mb (which of course they are).
Why the **** am I supporting this place? Seriously considering going back to being a freeloader.

Some slightly-less-muddy-than-last-time Kent XC/"gravel". Wobbled my way around a bit but a few places where I was beginning to trust the bike more and just let it find its line. So tired of mud now.
First ride for a couple of weeks this morning. Sunny spells. The local wood's 'Bog Index 'has finally dropped below a 10.
Back to ImgBB seeing as the rich text editor has disappeared.
Anyway awesome day out at the edge of the Peak District. Still some slop around but glorious sun. Followed by a visit to the pub with the family and now having a takeaway curry on Jeffl jnr Mk2s birthday eve.

No riding.
Just 600 miles in the car.
And a city.
We've been eyeing up this local loop up for a few years but it has evaded us - until today (Sunday).
Stiff climb up onto the Rhinns of Kells.

Then a roller-coaster along the tops (heading for the far peak in the centre distance).

Down off Corserine past the Mosquito DD795 crash site (hidden under snow) and a long steep techy hikers trail into the Forrest Estate. Finally, it was back along the Glenkens Pilgrims Way to the van.

I have a new Mason Bokeh on cycle-to-work, arrived about a month ago. I've been mostly cycling to work on it, but I took it out for an epic gravel adventure through the dusty trails of Cambridgeshire and on into the mudgloopfest of Suffolk on Saturday.
Those purple clouds were full of hail - I found this out shortly after taking this photo.
