It's the Weekend Ride Picture Thread.

You know what to do.

Ride your bike/ take some pictures/ post them up/say a few words/ try not to get a black eye down the boozer tonight. 😉

Not been feeling great for the past week with a really rough throat/lungs/cough.

Nevertheless I managed to drag myself out for a loop round GT early doors as I may not get the opportunity ride for the rest of the weekend.

Roadie got an outing up the Wharfe valley today as I needed to get some mileage in. Cold and wet.

I'll be at GT on Monday, can't wait!

Out in the camper in the Peak for the weekend. It's a bit wet on the trails and slippy in places but it's always good to be out on the bike.

Enjoying an easy ride back from Helensburgh to Auchterarder, westerly tailwind the whole way! Lots of standing water, looks like I just missed some heavy rain.

Decided against riding today as the strong winds and sideways rain has never stopped so went walking instead.

Changed to hail on the way back from the pub

Listening to the rain on the roof of the van always seems to be therapeutic

I was solo and so made like Ramone and Flo*- Low and Slow baby....

Out the wind, below the snow, and teetering through winter schloppp and sliiiick rocks on local loops.

Some lovely sun though deceiving how cold and windy it was.

Rainy afternoon in Rotorua

If you passed a lad (GT) and dad (Trek] they could have been my brother and son....

Wondered about not going to GT because of the wind but went for it anyway. Class trails (B Side, Hammer Time) in good condition (not too filthy) Errrm, then binned it on Electric Blue on the way to reopened Falla Brae. The new cabins have changed the place dramatically but it still delivers on grin factor.

Had all weather today, but mostly cold wind and rain. Picked the wrong gloves so hands were freezing most of the time. A type 2 kinda ride20241222_105534

Where Kippenrait joins the Darn Path, between Dunblane and Bridge of Allan.

I'll keep an eye out next time Tracy and Matt . My guess is they paid attention to the weather forecast and got out before it chucked it down ..unlike me !

Gotcha.

Keep meaning to dust off the MTB and have a crack at that ridiculous rubbly climb as you head towards Dunblane, has the look of an 'interesting' challenge to try and clean it...

Lower section to the river is known as 'Fracture Clinic', but that and the stony upper section are a giggle down and up. Shout if you fancy a local pedal.

Planning this for the 27th, starting Kinbuck Bridge for 9am. Gravel/CX is the bike of choice right enough although a few (I hope) interesting slippy bits of singletrack to explore. Let me know if you fancy it!

@rickmeister - that looks fab. And cold.

Sneaking in a Monday ride here as was a bit blowy and 'orrid to ride yesterday.

FoD was filthy as expected. Also as much fun as expected finishing with a PBA Boar burger and local ale. Very glad I chose to take today off 🙂

Monday's still the weekend yeah?

Out on the singlespeed again. Really enjoying it.

Grot, singletrack and tech on the mean streets (and mean woods) of urban Leeds

Well... It's not technically a riding pic, but it's relevant to the thread in that I managed to get a black-eye at the weekend!

I wasn't quite "owned with bombers", but managed to **** myself in the side of the head with the steerer of a pair of road forks while trying to remove a brake caliper which had become seized by several winters of road grime.  Slow hand clap for me...
