After months of deliberation I've just picked up a Zesty 314 from Evans. As it was getting a final check over, I noticed it had different rims from the other 314s. The spec on Evans website says Mavic New Crossride, but I've got Easton EA70 XCT on my Zesty.
The question is do I go back and demand they put the Mavic crossrides on or keep schtum because they're actually a bit of an upgrade? I noticed their Zesty 914 also had the Easton rims so I assumed they must be better.
Thanks
you could go demand a different set of wheels - but would look silly and have no standing to do so as the manufacturer always writes in small print that they have the right to change the spec of a bike as they see fit
Probably fed up of waranty work on the crossrides. Id be happy with the eastons
The EA70's are a better wheel. Keep them.
Thanks for the replies. I'll stick with the Eastons, just wanted to make I wasn't being palmed off with cheaper wheels.
