Just wondering if and what people use as I’ve just come across these?

http://www.mobiusbraces.com/store/x8-wrist-brace/

Having had  tendinosis now for pretty much 2 years with 1 tendon release operation done and one to go next week.

I’ve  pretty much  poked up with, or tried them all manner of scraps  till I had to stop riding as nothing was really working/helping and I need to use my hands and for my work etc. .

So basically just asking if anyone has tryed the mobius wrist straps in the link and has any thoughts on how they are/work regards mountain biking.

Cheers carl.

Sorry bit wafflie I know lol.

Mate uses the 661's, borrowed them when I was bad and they felt good but no good with gloves unless you get a bigger pair. Worked well but probably depends where your weakness is

Yeah tryed them and the Troy Lee ones and most medical ones with bars in over all most work for a while but not enough to stop the deterioration sadly.

I get wrist tendon issues now & again , usually after lots of mash hammer & big spanner jobs , I was shown a remedy by a nice Lady who used to treat my S I joint disfuntion. I use a lacrose ball & roll up & down the tendon/sheath on my forearms with as much pressure as I can stand (it hurts a bit) , depending where the discomfort is , there are a couple of different locations I get issues with. It works for me every time.

I'm not saying it's going to work for you , just that I got a remedy that worked from someone who was not strictly a medical professional.

I also use these on big days , they fill your gloves up a fair bit though but I've used them for years on various handlebared machines.

I tape my wrists, I have hypermobile joints and the tape helps keep them stable. If I don’t tape them I get tendon pain through my wrists and forearm.

I have just invested in a set of Rev Grips to see if they help at all by reducing some of the short sharp impacts through the bars.

2 month old thread: https://singletrackmag.com/forum/topic/wrist-supports-braces/

I got some cheap 661s but they don't fit me right so I can't ride with them. Troy Lees version looks interesting, have to try it on somewhere.

Have you tried Ergon style grips ?. Provide more support than a normal grip.

Hay von cheers I did try something similar about 6 years ago when it was just starting did help at the time as did the scraps over the years sadly as it’s got to the Cronick levels where the sheath is so inflamed that it basically try’s to stop the tendon moving through its range of motion ( makes one hell of a weird noise squeaks lol when it happens some weeks. It’s all past this point. They did one arm where they cut in to the sheath to realease it and now I’m basically looking for to help that one while I ride and rehab it  and then the other one when that’s ready etc.
