Still trying to pick a HRM!

The watch style attracts me as I could use it easily in the gym etc. However, these can be expensive and if I stretched a bit I couold get a Garmin Edge with HRM functions.

Does anyone have both? Which do you use more?

Some of the bike mounted ones also have wrist strap so you can use them as a watch style one. Using a wrist mounted one on a bike seems a bit pointless to me as it'll be much more difficult to read when staying in hr zones.

Don't know about one costing as much as a Garmin but my Decathlon one is a watch one, but came with a rubber thing to attach it to the handlebars he required...

For the Garmin Forerunner, you can buy a bike mount kit. This is just a lump of rubber and a couple of zipties that goes around the handlebars, then you can strap the watch on. It costs about £10.

Or just use a bit of pipe lagging instead.
