Hi, anyone got any recommendations for wrist braces that are both supportive and comfortable for riding on drop bars (hoods and drops positions)?

It seems the neutral/vertical hand position is best for me. Haven't been able to ride flat bars for a few years without it being painful.

I have OA in my left wrist that a 1-2 times a year cortisone injection makes riding OK until it starts wearing off. Now my right wrist is going same way and really quite bad after riding. I won't be getting an xray for it and possibly injections on it until next time I see my consultant in January.

I have a neoprene strap type one, but think maybe one with a stiffener in would help more (as it doesn't help that much), but I don't live somewhere where I can access a range to try. I also sometimes have clip-on tribars on the bike to give me chance to rest them. Also just ordered a redshift shock stop stem...

Cheers

I rode for a year after my wrist break (three planes, volar plate, two ops) with one of these. That included a season of road racing on Surrey’s finest ashphalt. In fact I eventually wore it out. Recommended.

Allsport Dynamics OH2, I've been using one for years since breaking my wrist very badly about 10 years ago. It is very good but not cheap, it allows full movement but also supports well and you can still wear gloves
