Has anyone had their bike wrapped as an alternative to repainting it?

I did it myself. Easy enough with straight tubes and convex surfaces. Concave surfaces take a lot of thinking about. Dropouts were fiddly..

Not really the ideal process, bike frames are lots of small tubes and you would always have a join/overlap as you don't have the natural "edge of panel" that you find on a car

Certainly possible but would be time consuming and you might not be happy with the results/edges

(I used to wrap vehicles for a living)
