You don't need to be an 'investor' to invest in Singletrack: 6 days left: 95% of target - Find out more
After playing with some jumps at woburn on the weekend, my confidence exceeded my ability and now there is a head shaped dent in the hip line. If I am to continue playing silly buggers it looks like a next brace would be a good investment (my neck is hurting as i type this)
Any tips, good buys about etc. I hope to go to BPW at the end of May and to the Alps in July and feel a little safer.
Thanks
Leatt for the win.
Not sure which model, the Missus had the basic one a few years ago for DH but wished she's got the more expensive and adjustable version. I think they've changed a few times since then though.
Me and the nipper have Leatt DBX Comp 4.
Once set up you forget they are on.
Not had a big crash in them yet so no proof of the protection.
The newer version is easier to setup and adjust I believe.
Make sure your armour (if you use it) works with the brace, some armour have a panel that can be removed.
thanks for the advice - will look into the adjustable ones after talking with a co-worker today
