Hiya... So my DMR V11s have given up the ghost.Â
I've got bearings and stuff for my Vaults, which I have rebuilt in the past, but I looked up the price of new ones and they and similar are only 30 quid.Â
Obviously, sustainability, etc etc, but was wondering whether people just bin them and think of pedals as disposable, like grips and tyres...?
I replace the bearings/bushings/pins in mine. Unless the bearings are unusual, you should be able to get replacements for a few quid (no point using high grade bearings in pedals IMO) and the bushings are usually standard parts available from your bearing supplier too.
When you start looking at OEM service kits, then it gets a bit silly.
Yes for HT pedals because the service kits aren't obscenely priced.
