Just in the middle of clearing out my garage to make a nice workshop area. Bodged together an okay workbench today and just seeking information from the hive mind regarding efficient tool storage/use.
I'm thinking a tool pegboard kind of thing, but can't seem to find anything decent to buy at a reasonable price. Any ideas or photos of your own workshop spaces to inspire me? The wall area I'd like to use is about 1m x 1.4m and I mostly do bicycle maintenance so I'm sure you can imagine the type of tools I have.

I'd go for a bit of MDF and some dowels/screws/nails/hooks
Not a fan of shadow boards personally, just loads of space to hang stuff in a semi organised fashion
